Terms of Service
We know nobody likes to read these, but highly recommend that you look through it. Most of our terms are relatively common sense - we're reasonable people.

VectorLevel's provided services are subject to our Terms of Service, which may be updated by us from time to time without notice to you. This is the legal binding agreement between VectorLevel and the paying customer (heretofore referred to as 'client') for all and any service(s) provided by VectorLevel. By using our service(s), client agrees to all of the terms and conditions listed below.

Damages and Losses

VectorLevel takes no responsibility for any damages or losses client may suffer from using our service(s). Client agrees that VectorLevel takes no responsibility for the data contained within client's personal directories and client assumes full responsibility of the data. VectorLevel also reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. VectorLevel highly recommends that you make your own backups.

Prohibited Content

Client shall not allow the posting, transmission, or storage of data and content on or through the services which, in VectorLevel's sole determination, constitutes a violation of any relevant law, regulation, ordinance, or court order. Client shall be responsible for determining what laws or regulations are applicable to their use of the services. Prohibited content includes, without limitation, content or code that facilitate any violation of this terms of service, phishing web sites, link farms, spamvertising sites, or warez websites.

Abuse

Abuse can include, but is not limited to the following offenses: any attempts to compromise a server or network device belonging to VectorLevel and/or any other company, individual or entity is strictly prohibited including IP range scanning, port scanning and vulnerability scanning; any attempts to launch a Denial of Service attack or disrupt a server or network device belonging to VectorLevel and/or any other company, individual or entity is strictly prohibited; the sending of unsolicited email, newsgroup postings, chain letters and/or anything else that could be considered spam is strictly prohibited; the hosting of material that infringes on any copyright, trademark and/or service mark is strictly prohibited including the storage and/or transmission of pirated movies, music, software, ring tones, ebooks and/or anything else considered to be warez; the use of BitTorrent scripts, IRC clients, IRC bots, web crawlers, shoutcast servers, game servers and/or any process that is required to be continuously running is strictly prohibited; the use of proxy scripts, video conversion scripts, chat room scripts, live help scripts, and/or any script that creates a high load or disrupts other users is strictly prohibited. VectorLevel will deal with abuse issues on a case by case basis, and will attempt to work with client to resolve the issue.

Please note that any violation(s) could lead to a simple warning, temporary suspension of service, and/or termination of client's account(s) without warning.

If your actions have caused the IP address ranges of VectorLevel's mail servers to be placed on blackhole lists and other email filtering software systems, a $200 charge will be added to your account in addition to $30 per hour for administrative charges incurred to remove and protect our mail servers and IP ranges.

Payment Policy

VectorLevel will not activate any service(s) until client has paid in full. To cancel and discontinue service with VectorLevel, client must give at least 1 day notice to VectorLevel via support ticket or email. In the event that client is unable to pay for the next billing term, client will be given a 7 day grace period subject to change based on specific circumstances. If client still cannot pay after the grace period, client's service will be suspended until any overdue bills are paid in full. Should an overdue account reach 30 days of nonpayment, client's data may be removed without warning from our servers.

Referrals

For every customer who you refer to us, we will give you 1 free month of hosting regardless of which plan you are on! You will receive your free month after the first payment. If the referred customer(s) leaves during the 30 day money back period, your free month(s) will be removed from your account. Your account must also be in good standing and not in violation of our Terms of Service.

Refund Policy

VectorLevel will offer every client a 30 day money back guarantee on new accounts. Client must submit a support ticket requesting client's money back during the first 30 days. The client's account files will be deleted after the refund is processed.

Uptime Guarantee

We back our high performance hosting environment up with a 99.9% uptime guarantee. If you experience more than 0.1% of downtime in one billing month, credits will be issued to your account accordingly. This guarantee does not include downtime that is out of our control, including but not limited to: upstream network outages, internet backbone congestion, natural outages, and facility power failures. Your account must also be in good standing and not in violation of our Terms of Service.
